European Artistic Crafts Days 2016

Sylvie Rabussier, with the help of her team at Atelier Sylvie Rabussier, designed an exhibition in homage to the painter André Derain, entitled "The Language and the Madness of Colors."

Echoing the expression "the cage of wild beasts," coined by the critic Louis Vauxcelles during the 1905 Salon d'Automne in Paris,the exhibition design highlighted the "orgy of colors" characteristic of Fauvism.

The exhibition preceded the acquisition and restoration of André Derain's studio by the municipality of Chambourcy.
