MOSAIC DAYS CONNECTING ARTS
Mosaic Days Connecting Arts are a continuation of the 2026 Mosaic Days, "Dialogues between Mosaic and Stained Glass."
Selected as a "Coup de Coeur" (People's Choice) project by the National Institute of Expertise as part of the 2026 European Artistic Crafts Days (JEMA), Mosaic Days Connecting Arts aim to highlight all the human interactions generated by the 2026 Mosaic Days.
WHAT ARE THE 2026 MOSAIC DAYS?
Mosaic Days is an event dedicated to promoting the art of mosaic by offering an exchange with another art form at each edition.
For the second edition in 2026, mosaic was placed in dialogue with stained glass. Six artists and craftspeople were invited to exhibit their works: Atelier Albertini, Atelier Loire, Bang Hai Ja, Maya Husseini, Rachel Maisonneuve, and Sylvie Rabussier.
To this end, the exhibition was divided into two parts: one dedicated to the creative process (at the André Derain studio-home) and the other to the dialogue between the works (at the Yencesse room).
Alongside these two exhibitions, numerous free lectures, guided tours, studio visits, and other activities took place.
THE MOSAIC DAYS CONNECTING PEOPLE, A VOCATION TO SHARE
The Mosaic Days Connecting Arts highlights all the exchanges generated by the Mosaic Days in the form of a free exhibition. Through a new dialogue between the artworks, the public will be able to receive an artistic and technical transmission, and, beyond the gestures themselves, perceive a "state of mind" unique to each artist and craft.
